A glossy finish will make your lips appear more full which is good for women with thinning lips.
Your eye shadow and blush should also be a creamy version when available. Using a powder on already dried out skin will settle into the fine lines on your face and make them more apparent. Creamy blushes and eye shadows won’t do this and will always make you look younger.
Giving your eyes definition with liners and mascara will give some great life to your eyes to make you appear younger. Using eyeliner on both the top and bottom of your eyelids will make them appear bigger and younger at the same time. To take away the sharpness of an eye liner, all you have to do is run your finger over it so that it smudges a bit. You can also curl your lashes to make you look younger after your mascara has dried so that the curl holds longer.
While this is not a makeup trick, it is important to looking your best and will help you to look younger. It involves how you pluck your eyebrows. Over-plucking once you reach the age of 30 can cause your eyebrows not to grow back in if you do it on a regular basis. Only pluck as necessary and be choosy about your eyebrow style to make sure you keep your eyebrows right on through your older years.
